Random Idea for a Short Story: Zipwire
Oliver, a fourteen year old boy goes on a school trip where there is a zip wire. He rides the zip wire, yet it doesn't stop, and continues going on and on for miles. The wire eventually comes to a sharp break, at a sort of Maze Runner style encampment on a deserted island, where lots of other boys that rode the zip wire have ended up. Most of the story is them trying to survive on the island, while also trying to find a possible zip wire back to where they started. The story ends with one of the boys choosing to stay on the island so that the others can go back to their lives.
