I make stories that are set in the same world as the Sonic comics by Archie, but about 16 years after the ending of them and without the last reboot. Rapid technological advancement has occurred, and some OCs have been brought in:

Maurice: HIH Maurice Spencer Acorn, Commander of the Fleets and 14th Emperor of Acorn, started as a plain and simple guy like you. Through chance and hard work, he has gotten to where he is now: Emperor of Acorn and nearly undisputed ruler of the dimension. He's still a normal guy under all that power and celebrity but often needs to take up arms to ensure his years of hard work aren't spoiled. 
He took the throne after the death of Elias Acorn, and the Acorn name at Sally's behest as an honorary badge, but remains single. He is currently 33 years old, with brown hair and ice-blue eyes similar in color to a husky's, due to a lab accident.

Some of his powers include a deep understanding of Chaos powers, allowing Knuckles-like abilities, and an odd ability to shapeshift similar to the old Animorphs books, but with no time limit. He usually either uses his "default" human self or a personal Mobian form, whose genome was created by himself specifically for this purpose.

Alex: Alex is the adopted son of Maurice. He's intimidated by the fact all of his heroes now surround him daily, but he's grateful for his opportunity. His fiery temper and tactical mind make him a valued fighter, but he has a reputation for not being able to take hits. He is currently 14 years old and was adopted at about 6. His real birthday is unknown, so they celebrate his "birthday" on the anniversary of his adoption.

Elliott: Elliott is an experimental AI written by Nicole in an attempt to understand the maternal instinct. He considers Nicole his mother, and vice versa. Despite having existed only a couple months, he was written to be psychologically 15. Maurice seems to have a strange fondness for him and doesn't explain why to anybody...
