I dedicate my free time to write short stories and poems. Most people say that words are not really important, actions are "the real deal". But, are they? Not to me, at least. I think of WRITTEN words as the greatest expression. The uppermost. I'd rather receive a beautiful, well-written letter, than the biggest action of anything. Maybe because actions are done and then are over. They end. And they can't be repeated most of the time. Written words can be read once, and again, and again, and again. And even if I lost my memory, forgetting every episode in my life, every action anyone ever did for me or to me, those words will continue to be there. In a letter, in a poem, in a novel, in a simple note. Words to me are magic and powerful to create any number of new worlds, either better or worse than the real one. I live in a written world.
