Greetings! My name is Max Andrew Drake and I'm a (aspiring) writer, like many of the other netizens of Wattpad. I mainly write comics and short stories and hope to get many of them published at some point in the future. The genres that my writing most typically falls into are superhero, science fiction, historical fiction, and alternate historical fiction. 

My main focus is the series of comics I hope to have published one day. My process revolves around writing my stories as scripts, akin to what you would see for a movie. I feel as though the script format allows me to paint the picture and action of the story to both myself as the writer and to the reader (often those two are one in the same. Being inspired by Alan Moore, I like to use the short story format as a way to expand on my stories. This allows me to use a different form of prose to explore aspects of one story - psychology of a character, backstory, simultaneous events, etc. - and engage in effective world-building.
