My name is Maxine (Max) Grayson, and obviously I am an aspiring author. It's really the only thing I can see myself doing as a career, because it's really the only thing I'm quite good at. It's my strongest skill, but I have no idea how much that says about me. Either way, I hope this website will help kickstart my career with feedback and help from my fellow authors.

My favorite genres to write are that of the romantic, humorous, fantasy, and supernatural varieties. Grim reapers, angels, demons, you name it, it's an interest of mine. Realistic fiction is a rare subject for me, but I'm not opposed to it. Most of my ideas are wild and far fetched, and hopefully perfect for the newer generations to come. Crazy and unique is better than cliche and recycled material, right?

I draw inspiration from many different sources- music, anime, movies, books, and just life in general. I like to think my best ideas, the ones that make my work my own, come from my own creativity and imagination though. It's always a good idea to look to your surroundings and culture to develop an idea though, and make it even better than it originally was. Alice in Wonderland is one of my greatest inspirations, and I love to take the story and put my own spin on it.

Things I like to do when I'm not writing are play video games -however horrible at them I may be-, draw -especially concepts of my characters-, and watch anime. I also enjoy online role play, as it helps to better my writing and to see how other people portray different kinds of characters in order to learn from it.

I suppose that's all I have to say for now. All that's relevant anyway. I look forward to improving my writing and hopefully gaining some kind of fan base along the way of my progress... or at least, the progress I hope I make.
