@Meka2106 I think that's a common misconception. Feminism's actual dictionary definition is giving equal right to women AND men.

The reason i asked you this question is because id like to think im some sort of a feminist
And totally believe in uplifting woman and girls but without disadvantaging the boy child in the process
But most people around me think a feminist is someone who actually hates male
@Meka2106 hey. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I had my exams so... Feminism to me means not judging people's intelligence or worth because of what reproductive organs they have instead of their brains. According to me, it doesn't mean that women are better than men or the other way round it just means that we are all equal. No, it's okay. Hope that's good enough for you :)
