          I went on a road trip to the Nilgiris

Rant about something useless that only a girl who can basically sense her period coming soon cuz her mood swings are that bad
          My mom not only made me listen to my music out loud but also made me reduce the volume so much that I could barely hear it over the fan
          Her excuse? The neighbours might complain.
          Then when my dad got home, he started blasting ancient Hindi music on the tv so loud that it went over my music and somehow that music which was in the same room as my mother didn’t bother her but mine did.
          I went and asked her how she could tell me to play my music softer and let some 1900s Hindi song play so loudly
          She laughed. Said she was waiting for me to come.
          I think PMS got me because I raged and told her that was so unfair and hypocritical of her and said that I would switch back to earphones if she was going to be so biased
          Then I had enough and stormed off to my room and shut the door as angrily as I could without slamming it
          Then I just turned my music up and stared out the window while crying.
          About two minutes later my dad knocked and came in and asked me to come outside to talk
          I was done catering myself to their desires so I told him if he wanted to talk to me so bad he could come here and talk instead of making me move
          So he and my mom came in and my mom apologised and said it was unfair of her to make me listen out loud and also control my volume
          And I told her it was and I was switching back to earphones since my music specifically bothers her so much 
          She said she was sorry and said I should talk to them if I wanted them to reduce their volume too
          I was still upset so after they left I cried a bit more and turned it up even higher
          Then they closed my bedroom door so that I wouldn’t have to hear their music
          Which made my room humid af but whatevs 
          Ugh why does this even bother me it’s literally just music…
          Music that was my escape from the world but still just music
          …
          Man I hate how dramatic I get…

My mom says I need to stop using earphones
          She sent me half a billion articles about hearing loss and shit
          She set up the echo show (Amazon Alexa with a screen) in my room and connected my phone to it
          I tried to get revenge by blasting we fell in love in October by girl in red and bite by mad Tsai at full volume 
          It reached every corner of the house
          That backfired in the best way possible 
          She started singing along to we fell in love in October 
          Turns out she knew and loved the song way before me
          She loved bite so much she made me add it to her playlist 
          I’m starting to wonder if my mom herself is secretly gay
