I was born and raised in Texas, but now kick around Southeast Asia. I've been a soldier, a cook, a book store manager, and a bowling alley pin boy. My first novel was published by Random House in 2003. In my spare time, I enjoy kickball, brooding and picking scabs.

I write what I enjoy reading: Fast-paced fantasy adventure (sword & sorcery, for the most part) with (hopefully) characters as real as you and I. I hope you enjoy reading my work half as much as I enjoy writing it!
