Born 1954. Male, divorced with 3 children. Grammar School educated, dropped out and spent four years studying textile design, gaining a degree which I have never used. Have been a Civil Servant, have been / still am / kind of a mobile and community radio DJ. Currently Officer Commanding an Air Cadet unit. Involved with a group restoring a unique and ancient diesel railway locomotive. Have had poetry published and broadcast in the past. Still most interested in, and passionately defensive of avant-garde music, and art in general. Interested in walking, cycling and ornithology. Love the coastal areas of North and South West Wales, and Suffolk. Fascinated by industrial archaeology. Also (somewhat obviously) an aviation, and military archaeology enthusiast. Survived meningitis at 2 years old, and cancer at 54, the former of which I feel has left me with a somewhat unique, synaesthetic angle on life. I seem to see and perceive things which elude others, and am uncommonly prone to coincidences. Also a committed Fortean.
