Check out my edited version of I Can Play That Game, Too!
Rocky Evans had a decent life before her beloved father was killed in Afghanistan. To find a release from her grief, Rocky’s mother remarries to a senseless, abusive alcoholic. Her mother changes and beats her around along with her new husband. At Rocky’s wits end, she is saved and taken into custody of the government and only given two options, one of them being foster care. With only one year left of being a minor, she takes the easier route: avoiding foster care and moving to South Carolina to live with Linda Marino, her husband and family of three boys. She has known them her entire life, but hasn’t seen them in fifteen years. What she’ll soon learn is that these boys, grown or still growing, will do everything they can to make her feel “welcome”. Join Rocky in a fight for self discovery, love, renewal and those pesky boys.
