What if the stars don't shine with glee,
But burn in silence, endlessly?
What if the moon's soft, silver grin
Is just a mask it's trapped within?

What if the wind that kisses skin
Is screaming loud beneath the din?
And what if I - just passing through -
Am asking things I never knew?

Do clocks tick truth, or just pretend?
Does meaning start, or simply end?
And if I vanish, blink and gone -
Would life still march like nothing's wrong?
