Holy SHIT depression's a hell of a drug. I sincerely apologize for the lack of writing over the months. 
          
          I was in a really dark place that I didn't want to see myself out of but after so much of this, I've decided it's kind of ridiculous. I was a creature wallowing in its own self-pity but now, we are a creature only slightly dipping into its own pool of self-pity. 
          
          I can't promise an update schedule, and I won't go out on a limb and say I'll post a hell of a lot either. But I'll try. Because hot damn, I have been out of sorts way longer than I ever should have let happen. Self-destructive habits are hard to drop. 
          
          I'm going to start on the prologue to a story I've been very excited to show y'all tonight. And to those of you who are also in a long term gunk right now, I'm so sorry. But its beatable mate. Today I was able to enjoy the company of my friends for the first time in a while. It's doable. It's hard, but doable. 
          
          Love you little shits.

Hey guys, there's an app out there called 'Be My Eyes' in which you can help (or be helped) by a volunteer. 
          
          It's a simple app where a blind or visually impaired individual will send a call for help, and this can be for anything from asking the color of a shirt to helping them with expiration dates. 
          
          If you or someone you know is visually impaired, feel free to tell them about it. And if you'd like to download it to volunteer, all the better. It's a real treat to talk to some of these folks, and I just wanted to put this out here since it's not the most popular thing ever.

Hey there guys, it's Jack!
          
          I seem to be struggling IMMENSELY with the pacing of my dialogue and action, so even though you guys probably haven't been waiting for anything (I know, I know, my post schedule is horrendous) I've been writing like 10 second chapters for Leo and they all feel wrong.
          
          It's like I've fallen out of the loop of being able to write an enjoyable story and enjoy the experience of writing it myself, while having something both readable and not too crazy. 
          
          It's so damn frustrating to write for hours a day only to come up with nothing publishable. 
          
          So, officially, we're on a writing hiatus while I try to find a beta reader. I'm still gonna be about on here, just not creating any stories for a little bit. 
          
          Thanks for understanding, it's not much of a change for you guys but Jesus it's a change for me. 
          
          

Stan Lee may be dead, but he'll forever live on as the ultimate comic star & cameo master. Best wishes to his family, and if I may say so, it seemed he had a good run of it! No one can be a man quite like Stan.

Oh god, you guys actually listened to the other post. Glad to see you on board the boat! I'm stuck in another feckin' hurricane at the moment because you know what's fun? Two hurricanes in two months. Someone's canoe is currently floating down the hill. Oh, it got stopped by a trampoline. And now the trampoline's upside down. Well then. Anyway, I'll be updating one of my new books (either Leo, Farthest from the light, or Cannibal) today/tomorrow depending on my power status. Catch ya later alligators.
