          Wattpad is dropping the most exciting writing challenge of the year: The Wattpad "Wuthering Heights" Movie Reimagined Contest. 21 In anticipation of the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film interpretation of this classic tale starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, we want YOU to bring your own twist to this iconic story of #forbiddenlove, #revenge, #obsession and #childhoodfriends. 
          
           Contest Challenge:
          
           In less than 3000 words, we challenge you to write the ultimate fanfic short story, excerpt or vignette re-imagining the classic tale of "Wuthering Heights". Your story can unfold in the original 18th century setting, in today's world, or in a completely new universe of your choosing be it vampires, werewolves or your own creative blend.

          We have new monthly Writing Tips starting Friday 12am GMT 10+ Time, followed by Monthly Writing Prompts Monday 12am GMT 10+. Starting from next week, Tuesday & Thursday 12am GMT10+ our new Question and Challenge of the Week Activities kick off to get those minds working now we are in 2026.

          Ambassador work is a labor of love because behind every challenge or contest, every reading list, and every reply you get from an Ambassador Profile, there is a real person investing time into serving our wonderful Wattpad community.
