I know it's been forever since I've updated wither of my stories but I've secretly been working on a third... I've written a content warning for it (like I should for ASO as well, I just haven't gotten around to it unfortunately), so here is the first 2 paragraphs as a sneak peak of the other fic I've been working on!

Your feet ached. The rocks and uneven ground provided no comfort as you aimlessly tried running away, slipping with every few steps you took. Your blood was drooling out of your body. You could feel the crimson liquid dripping from your various injuries and soaking your clothes further; a blade having been stabbed into the back of your shoulder, a medical needle having been shoved into your palm and revealing itself on the other side, and a large bite on your calf which was caused by an uncomfortable mix of dog and human teeth. Those were the three that you could feel most vividly in your adrenaline. The rest of your pain almost felt numb in comparison. You flinched with every step as pain echoed through your veins, lighting your nerves aflame as you struggled with your haphazardous steps. Your lip was busted, there were scratches coating your arms and legs from blades and logs and sticks alike; there was mud, leaves, blood and sweat coating your skin and clothes, making you feel disgusting. You wanted to shower. You desperately wanted to wash away the revolting feeling of the mixed fluids and dirt and pain away. You wanted to nestle into your couch with soft blankets, your favourite meal and your favourite movie. An inhumane howl launched itself across the forest, beating itself against the trees before diving into your ears as a painful reminder that you weren’t at home. You weren’t in a warm bath, with candles lit and music tracing the shape of bubbles in the tiled bathroom. You weren’t in the peace and tranquillity of your house. You were running. You were barefoot in a forest with creatures or people or animals or something following you and tracking you down. Watching. Wanting. Hunting.
