I've rewritten the first half of my prologue to The Soul in the Suit (that isn't actually a prologue at all), given it a new title (The Start of an Era) and would love your feedback on it while you're waiting for the new chapter to be posted this Friday (with dragon fighting!!)

If you like zombie media, please check out my new story (Her Zombie Duet)! It's a duology with a high focus on zombies, action, and romance. This is what happens when you build a wall and make everyone hate you enough to turn everyone into Criers--zombies with souls but no control over their bodies--and contain you from the rest of the world. The only sign of their humanity is the tears streaming down their cheeks as they smash open your skull... 
          
          I'm using a journal formatting for the first part, when my MC, Olivia, was 11 years old. So, a little bit out of the ordinary for this genre. There's lots of pretty scrapbooking graphics to look at to go along with each entry. 
          
          Whenever I watch or read zombie media, I always ask: what would it be like growing up in an apocalypse, and could a normal family survive (not one full of mechanics, hunters, and military/police personnel)? What would it be like having your first love in the midst of Criers? Dealing with hormones and learning skills like dismembering the undead...stealing food... watching your loved ones get ripped apart... trying to escape from America...you know, a typical day in the life of an apocalypse victim...
          
          Well, I hope to answer all of that.

Apologies, I won't be updating The Soul in the Suit this week! Next Friday, for sure. The chapter isn't coming together as it should, so rather than force it, I'm going to hit the pause button. 
          
          However, I will be releasing the first chapter of a totally unrelated book this week! I'm excited to share with you what I've been working on!

I keep having to tell myself: Do NOT start a new story in the middle of the one you're currently working on...
          
          Then I proceed to outline, brainstorm, obsessively daydream about, develop characters and create scenes for a post-apocalyptic duology... 
          
          I guess in the coming months, we'll see what wins: my head or my heart 
          
          (Fear not, The Soul in the Suit will still be updated regularly)
          
          For real though, I have zombie on the brain and came up with an interesting concept regarding an alternate America and a big wall, and how it could totally backfire, especially if Canada built one on the other side in protest... a zombie virus targeted only in America, rather than a worldwide pandemic. 
          
          Anyways, enough for now! My update this week might be delayed a day or two!

Two chapters posted in The Soul in the Suit this week, since I forgot to post last week (whoops). I really would love your opinion on which Chapter Sixteen you preferred: the short 500word one, or the huge 7,500 word one that I spent hoursss and hourssss on? 
          
          Of course, I hope you say the latter so all that work isn't for nothin', but such is life xD

New chapter posted a day early! Also, ignore any update notifications, all I've changed are the titles. 
          
          This update is a little odd (apologies), since it's a new chapter in the middle of older ones xD. It's the new Chapter Sixteen: Defender of the Light. It's a reworked chapter of the previously very short interlude (of sorts) called "IT ALL WILL BURN." 
          
          It's going to be two parts, second posted next week. For now, if you want to, you can ignore it until part 2 is up. At that point I will take down the short chapter, which will basically be engulfed by part 2. I hope that makes sense! Sorry for any confusion

Alright, I've posted my last chapter in The Soul in a Suit for a few weeks due to my upcoming nuptuals (I'll be away from Wattpad for 2-3 weeks I reckon, though I still might have time to check PMs). Then, I will return with a new chapter (and a new last name, too)! Thanks for your support <3

Busy, busy morning! I've edited my prologue to clean up a ton of grammar related things (and some line tweaking). With the Watty's this year, there will be lots more chapter edits coming soon to really clean everything up. 
          
          I've also posted the final part to Chapter Fourteen. 
          
          Annnnd I'm sad to announce that my posting schedule will be dropping down to only one on Fridays! This will be the last two chapter week for awhile! (As some people may know, I'm struggling with my next few chapters...oof)

Chapter Fourteen, part 3 has been posted today! Last part will be up on Tuesday, then I’m really excited to reveal the next adventure for King Alevan!
