@Eibmoz_Eht oh right... haha i just read it again now. yeah that is kinda sad hey... my original plan was for all the heist people to escape the market on foot, try to hide in an old shack of a house, but they get brutally surrounded. Mr. Black ditches them, bob gets eaten and then just as Mrs White and John are about to steal a car and drive off, john reveals he was bitten so he stays behind. well im not sure why i changed it but unfortunately the future for john was not going to be bright either way.. Although, now that i think, the reason i haven't updated the story for so long is because i have been planning a 2.0 version of this story that starts six months after the apocalypse breakout and includes everything you've read as a flashback.. i was gonna keep John alive for alot longer in that version as well.. he has some unfinished business with future characters... anyway i don't know if you'd be interested in that seeing as i've only done one chapter so far and i'd need to edit it before uploading.. thanks again =)

wait.. john died?

I have read all 12 chapters and have thoroughly enjoyed it.  I live in the united states so I'm not familiar with Australia much. So I enjoy that aspect. I really like the interaction between all the characters and it sucked that John died. 

@Eibmoz_Eht hey!! =) im super happy to read this messge after all this time away from this story.  so im on exam week right... i promise you AT LEAST one more chapter on the coming weekend (just because i got super excited from your comment), but then i'm going on holiday to america.. so.. yeah. how far have you read? if you tell me what you like about it so far maybe that can help me continue it, because im not so sure i want to stick with what i had planned... but i can if you like.. my writing style had changed a bit since i last uploaded this story also... thanks so much for reading <3

I just discovered this story and was wondering if it was still in the works or over. I'm really enjoying it and was hoping it would continue.

          unfortunately, the day didn't go exactly the way i planned and i will not be uploading until (hopefully) tomorrow
          
          i did start writing this morning though, so an idea for the chapter does exist and will happen !

          hey, i really appreaciate your enthusiasm =D
          looking back on the ten chapters i wrote, i see that its mostly introduction, dialogue and a build up. that seems to be my strong point...
          in other words, i find it really hard writting action sequences
          
          since you asked i'm gonna promise to TRY to upload the next chapter by the end of the day
