Hey everyone! I need to share something with you. I'm 13 years old and I came out as a lesbian to myself when I was 11. Maybe a little early? Maybe, but I never had any doubts. One fact, which I don't know if it's useful or not, is that I'm Brazilian (sometimes it's good to know this so you can overlook any grammatical errors). Well, I came here to ask for help because I really don't know what to do... I mean, I do know, but I can't do it. In sixth grade, I went to a new school and met a girl who was in my class (and still is). I thought she was amazing. The moment I saw her, I thought, "I need to be her friend." But then time passed, and I discovered that I wanted to be more than just her friend... Wow, she was funny, pretty, and played soccer (not as well as me, which was the charm, since she said I was very good). We didn't talk that much before, then last year we started talking more, and now the teacher scolds us because we talk too much (it's true that it's a group of 5 people in total, but we're always talking and laughing). The thing is, she's straight, she's kissed a boy who lives in the city she always goes to on vacation (she's there right now), and whenever I remember that, I feel really bad. At least she's not prejudiced, since a few times she and I have argued with two boys (it had to be men ) about the LGBT+ community (she and I were in favor, of course). So, to sum it all up: I've been very much in love with a straight girl for two and a half years and I know I should get over it (as if I haven't already tried a thousand times). It might sound silly, but to explain to you how amazing I think she is, I would need way more than 6000 characters. Finally, I've come to ask for help from you, older women who have been through similar situations and who could help me at this time.
