help me, please.

Hey, everyone. I hope you’re all doing great!

This is a very long description, but I’ll try not to drag it too much. As tagged, I need help finding a book.

I read this book between (2022-2023). It was about an Indian woman, housewife, married to an abusive man, has abusive in-laws and has no other family besides her brother (not sure if it was her biological or namesake brother). Her name was Tanvi, that I am sure of, but I’m not sure about the husband. Something close to Abhiraj. They had 2 sons together.

The story began with Abhiraj complaining that they’ve been trying for another baby, yet Tanvi still hasn’t fallen pregnant, so he took her to a gynaecologist. There, Tanvi is asked about her medical history and sex life. (considering how abusive the husband was, she obviously had a miscarriage, because the baby was a girl). When the gynae asks Tanvi if she takes any meds, Tanvi says yes, she takes pain killers every other day (because Abhiraj beats her), given by her stepmother-in-law, but doesn’t know the name, so she describes them. The gynae pulls out a sample, asking Tanvi if that’s the medication she takes. Tanvi says yes, but the gynae tells her that they’re not pain killers, but rather birth control.

In the room, he confronts her about broken glass pieces, which she used to slit her wrist (that’s why something shifted in him when he saw her wrist, which he already fractured and was swelling). He confronts her about why she would want to harm herself when she had a family and children. Tanvi breaks down and says that she didn’t just want to harm herself, but die too, because she couldn’t live that life anymore. She was tired. Hurt. Broken. She says that she even hates that she has sons because she’s afraid they might grow up and disrespect women just like Abhiraj and the other men and that people will paint her a bad mother. She mocks him and asks if he wants the hand she used to break the glass. She puts forward her injured hand and says that it’s already broken (or fractured) so he can just go ahead and break the other, or break her mind, with which she had the idea, or instead of his brothers, he can just send his father and grandfather to teach her a lesson.

After venting, Tanvi begins having chest pains and collapses. The story wasn’t complete but it “ends” with Tanvi getting admitted in hospital, the doctor saying her heart might fail and Abhiraj genuinely not wanting her to die.

The book’s name was something along the lines of “Un shatter me” or “Shattered bride”. It had already been 2-3 since the author updated (at that time) so I don’t know if she eventually took it down, Wattpad took it down, or she restarted the story–I don’t know because I can’t remember the author. I’ve been looking for this book because I, as a reader, would love some closure.

Your help will be very much appreciated.

A day later, when she comes out of the room for the first time, her MIL and sisters-in-law taunt her, saying that what she went through is not a big deal, they’ve been through it too, yet it didn’t take them as long as her to come out of the room. The sisters continue because they’re “jealous” of how their husbands “got with Tanvi”, who according to them, is useless and unworthy. A day later, Abhiraj storms into the kitchen, raises his hand to slap Tanvi. Tanvi has shielded herself with her hands before, but Abhiraj never cared, however, in this particular scene, he stops upon noticing her hand, and we catch a glimpse of his conscious when he feels different, but his anger doesn’t go away. He pulls Tanvi by her injured hand, but he grabs the other when she winces and drags her out of the kitchen. When they reach the stairs, he notices that she is limping and again, there’s a glimpse of a conscious. He lifts her, asking her she insists on working when she can’t even take care of herself. Lowly, Tanvi retorts that it’s his fault (letting his brothers rape her) and he doesn’t say anything.
