Hello there guys, I'm back!

Well, I have spent a bit too much time on the internet (or maybe just enough) for me drastically revalue my writing and especially the romance in my writing
You see, I have always written about romance as a subplot, most of my books main topics were political debacles and war. But that's not the problem.
The problem is that I started writing male/male romance in my books. And I'm a cisgender straight female.
Now I'm questioning if what I'm doing is right? Am I stealing the space from a gay man? Am I fetishising the lgbtq+ community without wanting to do so?
I've let it slip while writing Fanfiction, giving myself the excuse of 'They are not real, it's a Fantasy World!', but I need to face this.

So please tell me what I should do, because I want to be an ally and not an enemy.

@MeineKeime I'm a straight woman but I still read male/male fanfiction (Drarry all the wayyyy). I don't think it's a problem personally. You're having fun writing and I feel like you're also showing your support for the lgbtq+ community by writing male/male fanfiction. That's just my opinion tho.

Hallo meine keime, how are you doing? I see you took down the temple? I really liked that story.
Are you currently writing something? (in Englisch, my german isn't good enough)
I am not a member of the lbgt community, being a woman married to a man, but I really like to read boyxboy stories.
          Greatings, deine kleine, Jolanda

I habe in einer von deinen Geschichten gelesen, dass du sowohl Deutsch als auch Italienisch kannst. Bist du zufällig Südtirolerin?

Hello guys, you might have noticed I did some spring cleaning! I took down 'The Temple' because you didn't seem to like it and I'm just unmotivated. I also took down my other German book 'The last Rebellion'. I just wanted to let you know why there are less stories on my profile.

I do have a new thing coming up, and I would like you to give me some questions you have about writing stories. I will take everything, from outlining a story to how to create a certain aura!

I really need your help with this, thank you!

@MeineKeime I had happened to enjoy the story im sorry for being a passive reader on it however i will definitely try and read the next story you post. I will also make the effort to give you more feed back on it.

@ IstianaAna9 Sorry, I won't post 'The Temple' again. Nobody seemed to enjoy it, I got basically no feedback. That's what really discouraged me and the story was going downhill because of me. I'm currently in a Hiatus, so my next story might beginn in like, July. It will modt likely not be Drarry anymore, but still boyxboy.

Guys, I have a problem.
This morning, Dreame, a website, reached out to me and asked me to share 'In his shadow' on their website.
What makes them different from Wattpad? After a few chapters, you need to pay a certain amount to read on. The money (they say) goes to the author.

So that is my problem: On one side, I would love to earn money with my passion, but I'm also aware that with writing Fanfiction, the content I'm writing doesn't fully belong to me, thats also why I wouldn't dare to upload them on 'Books on Demand'. Secondly, the website is really new, opened in August 2018, making it hard to find reviews and to find out how much of the money goes to the author. I know that most of you won't be willing to buy my book (I wouldn't), and I don't want the few willing to pay the website instead of the author.
They also call themselves 'for female-orientated writers', which I'm not really. I am writing my books for anyone, even though a big part of you has 'female' as their gender on Wattpad.

I don't know, I really don't. Please tell me, has anyone made experience with Dreame, gotten the same message or can help me get out of this situation?

Btw. I was thinking of giving you an extra chapter of 'The Temple' this month...

MeineKeime

@ dramaticative_writer I denied too, the few reviews I found did not hook me, and I just felt strange about this whole thing (I still do).

@MeineKeime they reached out to me and they are legit. I just denied because most of the time if you have to pay for a story, no one reads it. Besides, I couldn't do that to my readers, especially on a fanfic because the idea is not mine
