Hi! My name's Mekenna, and I am a writer. Good, bad- I'm not sure. But I like to think of myself as decent. 

I just graduated from college, pursuing my dreams. My job actually involves me to write everyday. But it's not quite the same way as I would here. This is my creative space. My place to share with you what's going on in my head. 

Let me start with this. Anything I "publish" is a work in progress. Story lines may not make sense. Some details may be missing. I apologize in advance. But please let me know where my mistakes are. Someday... Yes, someday I will have the courage to take my work to editor to look over. But if you can help me along the way, I'd appreciate it. 

Right now, I have a story called "Socially Stupid". It's something I started writing when I was a freshman in high school (which was more than a decade ago - I'm old). The original was very short, and actually called "Blondes and Yogurt". But recently I have decided to completely re-vamp it, which is why it is here. It's kind of a cliche story to be honest, but I have grown very fond of it. And I hope you will too in one way or another.

Reach out to me! I'm kind of a hypocrite... I like to write but not read too much. But I am challenging myself to become better at that! So like I said, reach out to me. I'll read what you have and give you feedback if you do the same.
