My two Wattpad novels-in-progress are a series:
Book 1: MODEL RICANS shows the beginning of a friendship between Desiree Sanchez and Marga Nieves as they discover their natural brujeria powers while navigating and conquering high school. This one is almost done!

Book 2: LATINA.BOMB shows the two friends as women reconnecting after a 20-year hiatus. This one is more in its early stages. I had started it at a UCLA novel-writing workshop in 2022, developed it further or NanoWriMo 2023, and in 2024, I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

My family is pretty awesome and provides some of the best material for my very original stories (so if you bite, it will be obvi). 

Graduated with a BA in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, thanks to a little scholarship from the National Association for Hispanic Journalists. Worked at magazines, newspapers, and websites in Miami, San Francisco, Denver, New York, DC, Brazil, London. Also studied Film at American University in Washington, DC and Prague.
