Soul Castle: The Guardian & The Keeper was her debut novel, born from a lifelong pull toward Scotland she has never quite been able to explain - and has never actually followed. What the Royal Wren Kens is the second book in the series, and the pull has only gotten worse.

She has since learned it doesn't require a passport. It just requires a story.
When she isn't writing, Melissa is probably reading a time-travel series she has absolutely no intention of putting down. She lives in Florida with her family, her dogs, and Moe.
