First official chapter of I Bet On Losing Dogs is out! My writing has improved a bit over the course of the last two years. Blame it on my insatiable appetite for writing random little poems and short stories for my own enjoyment. I hope my writing hasn't changed so much to the point it's no longer enjoyable! I hope you guys grow to love Hikari as much as I do <3

Posted a bit of a kind of preview chapter for my first new story. It's less of an actual story chapter and more of an information dump, as I noticed I had a tendency to infodump a lot in early chapters of my older works. In an effort to avoid that, I Bet On Losing Dogs will be an experiment for me, where every few chapters I'll post in universe files that explain something in story, or give a bit of background on a character, to avoid me over explaining within the actual story.

Hey Guys! It's me, ya Boi! Some of you might know me as SoftRockBoi, others may know me as PepThePop. I've gone by many names over the years on this account, Luca, Maddox, Pepper. But now I can confidently tell you all that I'm back and better than ever. But I should probably reintroduce myself, yea?
          
          I'm Melli. It's nice to get reacquainted with you all. It's been a good two years since I've opened up wattpad with any real intention of writing and interacting. That's because the last two years I've been focusing on school, and my own self improvement.
          
          I wasn't in a great mindset, the last many of you heard from me. I was in a really bad place and I won't get into the details on in an announcement post, but I will say I'm in a much better place now, and I hope all of you are as excited as I am for this new era of my wattpad account.
          
          Many of my mutuals seem to have moved on, and part of me wonders if maybe I should as well, but I've always had a place on Wattpad, my community has always been here.
          
          Especially now I'm getting back into the My Hero Fandom. I've missed it. Back when I first started on wattpad it was as a MHA writer, writing silly OC insert fics(which I've taken down as I plan to rewrite them) and roleplaying as Kirishima. Writing for MHA is what got me the majority of my following, and it feels wrong to have strayed so far from what I was originally doing on this account.
          
          Expect to hear from me a whole lot in the future babies, look forward to seeing some old stories rewritten and some all new ones as well.
          
          I'm always open to hearing some ideas from the lot of you, I'll be checking my notifications regularly, so please don't be afraid to stop by and say hello <3

Opinions please. Should I start Damage, Inc with a prologue, showcasing a detailed recap of the events of season 1 from Theo's point of view or should I just jump right into this story's version of season 4?

Ignore the fact Damage, Inc is technically published, there isn't any actual chapters yet

          In the mean time, I've decided to temporarily unpublished all my old stories as they don't exactly suit my brand anymore. I'm a very different guy than the kid who wrote that stuff in highschool.
          
          My apologies to anyone who enjoyed my old stories, maybe one day, I'll republish them for nostalgia purposes, but most likely not.
          
          For now? I hope readers enjoy the way I write now, maybe even more than they did in the past. 
          
          One important thing to note is I won't be using Y/N for the reader insert character anymore, I'll be making up a character to put into the story in the readers place. Of course, feel free to change up anything to make the details suit your preferences.
          
          I've just found that my writing on other sites has gotten more traction when I don't use Y/N and just make a character.
          
          But that's besides the point. To those who see this and love Eddie as much as I do? Look for Damage, Inc's first chapter, Satanic Panic in the coming weeks. I look forward to everyone's feedback.
