You know most of the time I'm not satisfied with my writing. It's definitely not perfect, but that's alright. I'm an amateur writer who only writes for fun, after all.

But sometimes it still gets to me. I wrote a 2000 words one-shot for myself (which I won't publish) and thought, why not use AI to improve it? I used it, and it got a lot better, but the thing is, I did not recognize MY writing.

It was definitely better (like a lot, like smth you would read in a book), but it was not what I wrote, obviously. But that made me feel guilty for some reason. Probably because I spent 3 hours writing it only to use a machine that changed it in one second.

I felt idk like my work was thrown away. All the parts I added because I thought they were fun were scrapped because it was unpolished, according to chatgpt. I was gonna keep the improved version, but I felt bad for MY written story. If that makes any sense.

So I closed chatgpt and kept my own, full of errors and amateur story.

I'll never be fully okay with what I publish. But it is my work. And it is unique.
