Maybe I'm too late on this, but I noticed something.

Originium in Arknights performed similarly to Tiberium in Command and Conquer. With both minerals could generate massive amounts of energy, grow in catastrophic and spread like a virus and extremely harmful to the human body.

Probably the only major difference lies in societies and technological levels Earth in Tiberium universe and Terra in Arknights. With UN founded GDI (Global Defense Institute) vs Brotherhood of Nod, an insurgency group (classified as terrorists organisation by GDI) led by a man called Kane with modern/near future weaponries in an Air, Ground and Sea combined arms warfare in comparison to the Terra we enjoyed land loved. I might be wrong in some of these and other minor details such as crafting ammunition for firearms etc but what do you think.

(The Summits of Nations in Laterano could be an opportunity? I better do some research.)

@Memphis_2004 Ok that's interesting finding to see Originium similar & different to Tiberium.

Hopefully to see more updates to ya "Hell Or High Water" fanfic, though take ya time as I understand quality stuff can't be rushed. I saw chap 6 u put in some Chinese wording that seems to be Cantonese conversations mostly said from southeastern China areas like HK & Macau, correct?
If possible some wikia about ya Russian American male OC Alex with other fanfic characters?
Not sure if it's possible, maybe in the future Alex later meet Team Rainbow (Ash, Blitz, Frost & Tachanka) yet found out those 4 counter-terrorism operators are from another planet Earth that has no existence of Norvinsk region, TerraGroup, nor any either PMC group (USEC & BEAR) in the Multiverse.
Though the only thing both Alex & Rainbow can find something in common are being adaptable badass combat pragmatic Earthlings, highly educated in their fields (include fluent in multiple languages), armed with smokeless gunpowder arsenal+ammo that can shred Terra's threats like hot knife through butter, years of experience in combat tactics+strategies & similar situations on their respective Earths (both WAY more stable & healthier than Terra at many levels) which had GWOTs for some reason. Nonetheless I see Alex might have some disagreements with Rainbow operators during free time & team missions as he's an opportunistic guns for hire ain't giving any crap of his home country(s) to get as much as raise as possible for his paycheck for a living even on a new planet, when compared to the 4 Rainbow teammates who're loyal to their nation(s) with want to GTFO of Terra back home to their version of Earth.
Anyways have a great day. ;)

Oh ok thanks for the update, as for if Alex meets Rainbow fireteam (canon event) it's up to u to decide how might it go even if a friend of u warned it would messed up the story. Anyways will wait for the new chapter of this portal fiction story. ;)

@yimyuehonpeter Sorry for late reply, but in regards on the chapter 6 language, yes. Since Lungmen is the Hong Kong of Yan and Terra overall but with an even more important economic influence than the irl inspiration.

I did the Alex wiki of the like to kinda fill in his experience of shit being thrown at him up to this point in the story.

Although I do consider about introducing team rainbow into the story I was told by my friend that it'd fuzz up the focus of the story from being Terra focused, but since the devs make it canon I might as well run with it anyway.

Are you good bro? Or you resting, or just lazy?

Memphis_2004

@Paul55615 A mix of both, plus distracted by messing with scaled miniatures. Sorry if it's going to be posted later than you expected

Are you going to add the team rainbow to the story?

BootlegKyloRen

If i remember from the rs6 collab event story the rainbow squad modified their weapons to suit the originium bullets in exchange for less firepower so Alex might learn a thing or two once he encounters them.

Idea: a female pmc that was tested on. If you could?

Paul55615

I don’t know much about Tarkov’s lore but you could do that she was tested on by the virus and vaccinated but she has a second personality. Sorry for not elaborate very well, you can make the changes how you like :)
