Saddens my heart, for I've just found out about you through a comment you left on another's page, showing gratitude towards them reading your book. But I understand, I've been off wattpad and recently tip toeing back because it felt off, a shift with the atmosphere. This app is truly great, there isn't one like it but you can tell that how they view Black Authors or even Author Of Color with the lack of push towards, making their content known. I've read many books that I wouldn't have otherwise, if it wasn't for the amazing people I've met and truly altering my realm of space to the best of my abilities. 
            
            Especially the For You page of wattpad, I rarly ever look towards it. The recommendations are saturated with white lovers/Authors being pushed and even if their books may be intriguing. I gravitate towards books more than ever w/at least A Black Woman in it, I don't care who her lover may be. Im not agasint if the book happens to be of White characters.BUT the growth of these Black Writers and being able to picture myself as the character even more seamlessly truly adds to the experience of reading. That to say, I would expect my FYP to be curated to my taste, like it would for tiktok. For explain, when you continuously watch certain types of videos, thats what will then be shown to you naturally. But unfortunately on Wattpad, it doesn't. The AOC ( Authors Of Colors) are I feel hidden, it isn't easy to find without, knowing/connecting to someone on here or book recommendations.For they don't get pushed forward the same way.

            It's hard to be inspired when the platform doesn't support you like it used to. It's discouraging.
            
            Many have gone to Amazon and some have gone to Inkett, goodreads. And that's all I know for now.

@MercedesG828 where do they transition off to? Cuz I wanna go. Wattpad kinda sux now and doesn't provide the same platform experience it used to. It's too focused on lame romance novels for little girls and middle aged women. I want to post new content but I don't feel like it would be appreciated on here
