Calling All Beta Readers!
Hey everyone! Apologies for my long absence from Wattpad, I have no excuses other than life happened and I lost a lot of my drive to write.
That being said, it has recently returned, and I’m 75% done drafting a brand-new romantasy series that I’m super excited about. Since it should be ready for some eyes in the next couple of months, I’m on the hunt for a few passionate beta readers to help me shape it into the best version it can be.
If you love stories filled with:
Enemies to lovers tension
Dark academia vibes
A touch of spice (obviously)
♂️ Vampires, Slayers, and…others
Shadow daddy energy
️ Secret societies and hidden truths
…then this might be right up your alley.
I’m looking for readers who:
- Are 18+ (due to mature themes and content)
- Can provide honest, thoughtful feedback
- Can help analyze both the big picture (plot, pacing, character arcs) and the finer details (worldbuilding, dialogue, emotional depth)
- Can offer constructive criticism that helps me polish the story

@TessWilton ooo good to know!! I think Galatea reached out to me before but I wasn’t very familiar with it at the time. I’ll definitely be checking it out! Thanks for the info :)

@MeredithAnne1 That would be amazing if you can. Yes I would definitely recommend it. A lot of authors who previously were on Chapters made the switch to Inkitt for a better chance at publishing, basically using them as a stepping stone. Some still use Chapters. Many authors have also had their books published on Galatea which is a partnership of Inkitt where they can get paid for their work, it’s based on reads of their books. You can also choose to have subscription tiers which readers will pay per month once you get more established.

@TessWilton hey! I actually forgot I had it on chapters previously lol I’ll see if I can get logged on and repost it. I’ve heard of inkitt but I don’t think I ever joined. Do you recommend it?
