Hey everyone! So I know I've kinda been on hiatus for a while, but I'd just like to pop in once more to encourage you all to check out the short stories in the Freshmen15s Common Room anthology! I, and fourteen other WP writers, were chosen to participate in a 2015 debut author mentorship (with some *awesome* authors) to polish up a short story manuscript for y'all to read. We've been working on them for the past semester and we'd love it if you checked them out--and there are some seriously good ones on there! Make sure to check out Attachment by Julia (@afterlightt), a personal favorite.

@Metaphorphosis Aw thanks for mentioning Attachment in this! Imagine is amazing! (as your writing always is!) I read in the comments that you're thinking of continuing it in a novel/screenplay someday and I hope you do at some point!

Hey, I noticed you discontinued Avernus; that's fine, I get that if it's not working for you it's not working but would you mind explaining what about it wasn't working? I'd just like to get a better feel of the issues! Was it the characters, the plot, or you just weren't into it?

@Metaphorphosis, that note really did help. I'm sorry that you really did have to struggle through all of the pressure that writing an bring, and I'm sorry that you had to go through writing withdrawal, but don't feel too bad about Avernus -- as much as everyone loved it, I'm sure we'll love each and every new character, plot, or idea that pops out of your creative mind. You just gotta do what you gotta do -- if it's not working to write a story, you can't force yourself to write it. It will never work. I'm glad you could see that (even if you had to struggle through so much) because work that you don't truly believe is your best won't be your best. Good luck with your future writing; I know I'll be tuned in as you one of the writers who inspired me to clean up my own act with writing. I'm glad you've made the decision to discontinue Avernus if you think that it won't work!

HI HOW'S COLLEGE? (It's julia from ceilingflower- I changed my username!) I know you're on hiatus so I'm just popping in to say hi :D I can't wait for Darce to be revamped in 2015!!! (And the Freshman 15s is coming up in January ah it's so exciting!)

Oh foreign language! I'm so bad at French so I can't see myself doing too much of it in college XD
            
            YAY CREATIVE WRITING! Tell me how it goes! I think I'll end up majoring in that or English, but of course people have asked me "what will you do with it?" and that's the scary part! Haha I've definitely heard of people switching their majors a lot-- my mom works at a nearby university and I talked to a junior at one of her events that didn't even know what his major was!
            
            Sadly, I quite literally need to get back on my feet -.-  POTS makes it super hard to do anything. Haha my dance studio is pretentious and likes to appear professional, so naturally the "company" commitments sound like more than they really are. 
            OMG i just noticed that your background is still the Weasley's family portrait! I wish we still had the old profiles I hate the new ones more every day D: And now they've changed the whole top bar thing and I'm not liking that either!

@afterlightt I'm taking a lot of foreign language classes as of right now (that's my major secondary passion), but next semester I will be picking up an Intro to Creative Writing class I dropped this semester (got into a bad section :/), and a Intro to 16mm Film class :D. So yeah! Really excited!
            
            I find it crazy that the PSAT asks that stuff man xD. It's like half of the kids *in college* don't even fully know that yet. (you have at least four more years to decide though. most ppl declare sophomore year. and even then, they're allowed to change afterwards).
            Oh gosh! I hope you get well and back on your feet (literally, I guess--for dance) soon! Man, you sound so professional with 'company' commitments and all, haha.
            Yay! That's true! Lots of good things to wait for! :D
