Hey guy's, I'm sure not many OUAT fans read my comments, but I decided to share my Rumbelle season 5, theory. Notice Spoilers. So anyway's I believe that, Rumple does love Belle underneath all the darkness and power. Honestly I think Rumple wants to be something for her, he wants to protect her, but he thinks with out power he will go back to his old self. The village coward. That's the whole reason he became the dark one, to protect the ones he loves, but they all seem to run away from him. Except for Belle. I thought, they were doing good together the first three season's but after that it just went down hill. And yet I don't think he want's to choose the power over her, but he does, because of obvious reasons, for one he's been so attached to the darkness for so long that it becomes a possession, and he thinks that he loves the power, but in reality he doesn't, he loves Belle. But when Belle put herself under a sleeping curse, she wants her father to wake her up. She doesn't want to be with Rumple, again, because she believes that he doesn't love her.
(Anyway's sorry for the long post. I just wanted to put my theory out there, does anyone agree with me? Oh, and Season 5 of Once Upon A Time came on Netflix! I'm so happy, but I've already seen the season, but yeah. Sorry for the long note.)
