Hello!
          	
          	So, I've updated Small Fish in the Big City. I know, it's much shorter than my usual chapters, but there's so much I want to include in this 'meet the family' session that I decided it would be much smoother to have them sectioned out. I'm this chapter, you all get a closer look at Laguna's home.
          	
          	Also, I feel terrible about this, but future updates for Small Fish in the Big City are going to slow down a bit. I'm going to be out of town for a week starting, like, now. And then, right as I get back, I'm going to try my hand again at NaNoWriMo, so a lot of my writing in November is going to be occupied with that. This year, I'm approaching the challenge differently, so I'm aiming to do much better than last year's attempt.
          	
          	Anyways, I'll continue updating when I can! Here's to an exciting month of writing!

            I was hoping against hope that's Gwen's fate wouldn't occur. It always makes me sad that she and Peter can't exist in the same universe once one gets spider powers. :'(  I think Gwen is a great character. (Disclaimer: my opinion is solely based on the Spider-Gwen comics, since I haven't watched the Amazing Spider-Man reboots. :P)
            
            I'm looking forward to seeing how the stories continue in the next companion books!

          I've published Chapter 9! Finally, you can see some of the aspects of Laguna that she prefers to keep hidden. Not to mention, there's a moment in there that I believe you all have been waiting for. ;)

          On a side note, please let me know what you think. Was Laguna's explanation more of an information dump? What is your opinion of Lucas?

@Misaka_Omnitrix It's been a great ride so far! :) I've been enjoying watching them finding themselves in awful situations and figuring a way out of it. Makes me want to watch/read the original A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun. I've been meaning to check it out, but I've been really busy. Now I have an excuse to put the series on the top of my list. :)

Chapter 6 is up!
          
          I'm looking forward to telling the rest of their story to you all! Let me know what you think.
          
          One other thing before I go. No, I have not forgotten about The Amnesiac Vampire, but I have been doing a lot of thinking about it lately. I'm currently in a tossup between finishing off the story first, or rewriting it entirely. There's a lot of things I want to edit in the story, and some ideas I've had recently has morphed some character concepts and plot ideas into something I believe would be much cooler. 
          
          In any case, my first focus will be on completing Small Fish in the Big City. After that will be the sequel to Bad Blood, I think. Still working on developing the plot for that one. Or perhaps a one-off story I came up with this summer. By the time Small Fish in the Big City has come to an end, I will have come to a more definite decision.
