Hi! I saw your recs book and was wondering if you knew of a story on Wattpad and could help me find it. I can't remember the name because it's been so long since I read it, but I have a pretty good description of it.
Basically, it's a supernatural mxm where the MC is gruesomely scarred and ends up saving two kids/pups from drowning on his way home and ended up taking them in. They were the only ones not scared/disgusted by his scars which made him quite happy. Basically, the older brothers of the two found them and ended up staying there for a short while. The eldest brother was the love interest for the MC and we find out that MC had some kind of puppet/string/fate ability that was blocked and his scars (which were caused by a werewolf who was his teacher and sort of magically poisoned to attack him) had some kind of darkness planted in them that kept them pronounced. The MC is also a well-liked author that goes by a pen name and works from home because of his disfigurement. He gets kidnapped at some point that I can't remember fully, but he got out. It was really good and I wish I could find it again.
