Dear Asuna,
Even though we haven’t met in person yet, I wanted to write you this letter — because in my heart, you are already such a big part of my life.
Kaira and Masami often tell me stories about you — about your kindness, your strength, your laughter, and the wonderful person you are. Through their words, I’ve come to admire you so much. It almost feels like I already know you in a special way. I treasure every story they share, and each one makes me wish even more for the day we can finally meet and talk face to face.
I want you to know that even from afar, you are deeply loved and supported. I think about you often and send you all my warmest thoughts and positive energy, hoping that life is treating you well and that you can feel how much you mean to us, no matter the distance.
Please know that whenever you are ready, whenever life brings us closer, I will welcome you with open arms and a full heart. I want to build memories with you, laugh with you, learn from you, and simply be the younger sibling who loves and supports you, just as I know you would do for me.
Until that day comes, I’ll keep listening to Kaira and Masami’s stories and holding you close in my heart. You are not alone, Asuna — your family is here, loving you and waiting for you with all the patience and hope in the world.
With all my love and support,
Shira.
