@JTom09 I don’t know if you received my messages yet. But I want to let you that I’m sorry. I do enjoy your fanfic for the most part with it’s heartwarming scenes and reacting to crazy stuff, but the bashing really made me uncomfortable and angry. There’s already been plenty of that in so many fanfics already. It’s especially annoying when characters who have done wrong do the bashing (like Sergio). The fact that the comments from readers clearly show their enjoyment of it also added to the annoyance. I am sorry that I let that make me wish for it to end. You clearly enjoy making this fanfic and I do actually hop you get to continue it with no problems. It’s just that it never hurts to dial back on the bashing, that’s all.

Alright, I’ll try the next time RTTLH gets brought up. And good luck, hopefully your story doesn’t get deleted from AO3.

I understand that. I only try to do the reactions from a realistic perspective. Like if one were to react to it from the first time. And face it, I can't excuse everyone's actions like Lynn, Lola, Carl, and Sergio for example. Would it even be believeable when we see Lynn shove Lincoln into a locker in Schooled! causing him to be late and Bolhoffner blaming him be like "Oh it's fine, shoving people into lockers for a minor infraction is ok." I get it when people bash your favorite character(s) you don't like it. But I do respect you liking them for the GOOD things they do. So do I. Or at least the ones I know can be better than they think, even more good, like Lynn, Lola, Carl, etc. It's called a REALISTIC REACTION for a reason. And it's learning from your mistakes. While Lynn does have her good moments, I am not denying that, the writers doing a 180 starting from Season 5 was just BS. Moments of her at her best were from Middle Men (from where her heart was)< Diss the Cook, saving Lincoln in Sofa So Good, etc. The bashing is often a realistic response in anger towards any characters getting screwed over and the screwers don't get punished for it. Believe me, I try to tone down the bashing, or at least for the minor stuff. Remember, I take suggestions from A LOT of people, including you. Plus, the characters do learn their lesson in the end and do try to promise to do better. And that includes Lincoln. Like it's been shown and discussed, I see things from BOTH perspectives. Teacher's Union and Making The Case are proof of that. I hope you understand. I will try my best to tone it down when I can. And I hope you also tell those people on the fandom the truth like you told me. I don't wanna sound or be a "toxic fan." I'm not a "Lincoln Loud worshiper" as they would "love" to say. I see things on both sides like I said.
