I am an author writing in the supernatural/contemporary fantasy genre.  My current series THE BLANCHARD WITCHES has won multiple awards and growing a loyal fan base.  
Not possessing the time or patience for novels that go too slowly or go nowhere at all, I write fast paced, multi character stories that (I've been told by fans) never gets boring because the stories are ever evolving.  Likewise, I try to make sure my characters are never flat.  I want you to recognize yourself or someone you know in them because once that emotional connection is forged, you care.  You care about what happens to them.  Their triumphs become your own and their tragedies will bring you to tears.  When you feel like my people are your people too, then I've done my job.


On a personal note, live in Birmingham, Alabama with my husband and our sons.  We do our best to show our boys the greater world out there and the people they share it with.  We frequently get out of our town and take them to cities we love such as New York, Miami, Nashville, Denver, and Cleveland to name a few favorites.  We are proud to see them growing up unafraid to meet new and interesting people, learning about other people's life experiences, and understanding everyone isn't exactly like the people you live next door to.  I always tell them, "Fill your life with people who are not like you.  You already know your perspective, but you will never know other people's story if everyone you know is the same as you."
