Michael Karner is a 28 year old novelist from Vienna, Austria. 
Born in the alpine upland of Austria, he has since travelled to over 25 countries. Michael has visited most places in his novels and did on-site research and location scouting on several road trips through Europe.
He holds a bachelors degree in Biotechnology and worked as a translator in China. He has lived several months in China and Thailand.
His part-time residence is in Vienna, where he worked in the Austrian capital and set the location of the fictive spy agency's headquarters in his novel. He is further regularly residing in Monaco and Madrid, which are both featured in the book. 
Michael served in the Austrian armed forces as infantry rifleman. Combined with being a MMA practitioner, he has a talent for writing gripping action scenes and witty dialogue.
