Updates on what I've been up to.
Over the past few months, I've been working on my first ever Novel, I originally wrote it at the start of my writing journey (One year ago) and it was in a sorry state of less then stellar condition. i.e. It was difficult to read, skimped on details, miss matched sentences, poor grammar, poor structure, and possible plot holed to death. I've been revising, editing and rewriting it, getting rid of plot holes and correcting stupid mistakes that a beginner like myself made. Fortunately, it was still the first draft and I'm making a lot of progress. I'm thinking about revealing the first part of the novel, what I think might be chapter 1. If I do, I would love some feedback, keep an eye out for the post. Thanks.
Secondly, I've also got a short story publishing soon! (So excited!) I'm not sure when it will release, maybe sometime around December? It is a part of an Anthology of works from my local Writers Group. When I get the go ahead, I will announce the name of it, and it will be sold on Amazon. For what I've seen, there is a lot of amazing stories ranging from Fantasy to Historical, to flash fiction and poems. The first story in the book was a treat that I loved reading. It will be the first of hopefully many books we release and I'm so looking forwards to having a physical book with one of my own stories within it. So far, the feedback I've revived on my story is positive, (although the sub romance I did supposedly felt rushed and I feel like that is so true.) I can't wait. So much is happening and it's making me feel like I can actually be an author, and not just a wannabe writer.
