@SkylerChase29 I do enjoy your series. It is imaginative and has a different twist to it. It does need a fair amount of editing. There are many words that are used incorrectly that cause a bit of confusion. Also, at the start especially, you have a lot of non-sentences. It can be an effective tool when used a bit, but many times it doesn’t contribute to the effectiveness of the impact of the words. That being said, kudos to you! I certainly couldn’t write a story, and I eagerly await the updates. Thanks for recommending it to me.

Hey! The Author Question that I posed on the Valkyrie Saga was about the pacing of my updates. I was wondering if it would be better for me to update fast and get the second book out and then there would be a large gap between when the 2nd book is finished and the 3rd book is at a place where I can start updating. Or should I pace out the updates - like only one or two a week - so that I have time to write the draft of the third book. Then there would be less of a gap between the 2 and 3rd books. The overwhelming response was to pace the chapters. Mostly to keep up anticipation and keep readers engaged.

          What do you think?

@readerchick428 I think pacing them out as you’ve suggested is fine. I’ve been amazed at how much you have been putting out. You are currently the most dedicated writer in all the hundreds of books I have that are partially finished. When the chapters come too far apart I have to do a bunch of rereading to remember the storyline.

Thank you for reading my book. I love every comment you are making.

I love every bit of reaction I get. I saw a lot of mistakes on my part. Life got in the way this last year and I wasn’t able to get back to it. I appreciate your candor. Thank you.

@academybrat I’m not a writer, but I’m one heck of a reader. Most of my kids think I’m nuts for reading ff (at least one son has read some so he doesn’t judge). After reading a lot of stories, when I go back to a regular book I find myself wanting to comment. My only suggestion is to try and proof it before publishing. I can imagine that it is such a huge deal to get a chapter written and you just want to hit send or whatever. However, missing words, typos, punctuation and grammar all affect the overall reading experience. Yours is not at the top of what I’ve read (technically), but by no means near the bottom end either. There have been several I’ve had to quit reading because they were so poorly written it was hard to follow! Also, I may notice more mistakes than others because I am a proofreader by profession, so I try not to judge. Anyhow just something to think about...You have amazing ideas and they come through well. Just keep up the good work! And please don’t be offended. I offended someone once cause I said I didn’t like that Owen (in her story he was a complete dick, which she acknowledged). I guess she took it as an insult to her writing. I figure if you can make someone like or dislike a character you are doing your job as an author!
            Have a great day!
