Hello my name is Rachel Dean. I was born in Montana. My family moved to Florida in 2008 and we have lived happily ever since. Well almost. In 2012, my father came down with cancer and died a month later. I feel his death has influenced my writing because he was a large role model. My writing became a bit more serious rather than the cutesy I wrote as a child.

Speaking of my writing, I love to write about futuristic societies, fantasy, and the supernatural. I have two books I'm working on, 'The Legend of Lycanthyum : Twilight' a fantasy and 'Ninevae : Mark of the Seer" a supernatural. Ninevae has been a project I've had in mind for a long time and I think I'll unveil it when I have three chapters done.

My favorite books include Deltora Quest, Divergent, Hunger Games, Smile, A Dog's Life, and The Scorpions.
