It's been three days since I last talked to West. THREE DAYS. Auntie was so excited about her engagement that she took me into town and we went shopping. I was really happy with the clothes we bought, (not really with the ones she forced me to buy) and we had a great time. But I couldn't help feeling a little regretful. I'm not saying these two days were wasted. I'm just thinking about how my time with West is already numbered, and that I should spend everyday of my remaining summer with him. I heard from Ana that he has already recovered. I also saw him when he was trying to get Tyler out of the tree. But he didn't see me, and I couldn't go to him since Auntie was waiting in the car. I want to tell him. I really want to tell him... But how should I start? Even I would never have actually thought he'd like me back. That he'd love me back. This was way out of my plan. Yeah, right. Like I even had a plan. But now that we're like TOGETHER, it's going to be harder than what I expected.
As of right now, Auntie's looking dreamily at some wedding dresses. We're at a salon, having our hair and nails done. As relaxing as it felt, my mind continuously wanders to that awful moment when I have to tell West... the truth.
"Honey," Auntie sighed. "You're supposed to be enjoying with me. Not moping around thinking about West."
I stiffened. "I'm not moping."
She gave me a look. Oh and by the way, I haven't told her that West is officially my boyfriend.
"I know you want to spend time with him but be all clingy like that and you'll end up creeping him out instead of turning him on."
"Auntie!" I said face going red.
"Listen, I know you're... depressed about the fact that I'm engaged, instead of being happy like the loving niece you're supposed to be," she said and rolled her eyes at the shocked expression on my face. "Child I'm not blind."
