At 15 I was going to matinee gigs at Erics punk club Liverpool. My mate knew a printer who did us blag full membership cards. Eventually I wrote/ produced my own punk fanzine MADA & sold it worlwide. I was invited by Paul Whelan to write articles for a forthcoming book on Erics called Erics Liverpool ( all the best clubs are downstairs) i'm namechecked on several local/ national punk albums as helping those bands and Ive also written regular articles for When Skies Are Grey an EVERTON fanzine. I used these articles to rebutt crap that had been written about me & some good friends in other football hooligan books & also to farewell those friends as I left Liverpool to start a new life with my family in Australia.
The articles written here are based on real incidents from my past life, but reworked for a FICTIONAL but realistic account of two female punk rockers travelling the UK in 1977. The idea is to blend my experiences with accurate punk scene reports from across UK based around real punk gigs from November 1977.
