I’ve been trying to relax now and I’m trying to rest this in God’s hands. there are some things that are beyond my control and this is one of them. I’ll try to work on other aspects of my application to boost my chances of getting admitted 

@MelodiMuse Hey Mide! Don't be too hard on yourself, okay? We know how much effort and dedication you put into preparing for this exam, and that in itself is truly amazing. You're an incredible person who can balance writing and studying with ease and that's something to be proud of.
            
            Getting a spot in your dream program is a huge accomplishment, and it's what truly matters. I know it's natural to feel a little unsatisfied as I also feeled the same in my medical test, but please don't blame yourself. You did fantastically well, and this is just the beginning of your journey.

hi Gungun! thanks for checking in. the test destroyed me for the most part and I’m hoping I did fairly well at least. my consolation for now is that I academically qualify for the program but damn… :(

hi Gungun, happy new year. I won’t be updating this week but you can expect an update next week. this month is going to be quite busy for me as I have a major test in the middle of this month but I will get back to the regular schedule once I am done. thanks for checking in and again, happy new year! ❤️

I’m glad to hear that. it definitely isn’t easy lol. I’ve graduated from university and currently working and it definitely has helped a bit in my being able to write more than I’d have if I was still in university. I’m currently working on applications again and I dread losing the inspiration and will to write again :’). I am glad to hear that I’ve been an inspiration and I hope you’ll be able to find the will to write and share you stories with us. all the best on your journey ❤️

I almost didn’t recognize you due to the change in username :’). thanks for your kind words and compliments, I do appreciate them as these constructive feedbacks have been a fuel for me to write more and push through despite the occasional burnouts. I do appreciate them a lot 

@TechFact8 MUZ deserves to be acknowledged and I find it incredibly disrespectful that her name has been erased. I wonder if she wasn’t the mother of Jahangir, would she even have been acknowledged despite being one of Akbar’s chief consorts? maybe one day, we will finally know her by her real name

@TechFact8 you do raise valid points for why MUZ’s name is not mentioned. some people claim it is because the royal women were to have their names concealed behind a title but it makes no sense to me because we have the names of Ruqaiya and Salima who are both Mughals and Muslims but suspiciously, the real name of a Rajput and Hindu is left up to guess…yeah, something is fishy somewhere

hi, Ekta! I’m currently writing the desert’s rose which was initially meant to be a one shot but it slowly turned into a fanfiction. I may split it into a whole book instead.

@TechFact8 hi, my introduction to Jodha Akbar was in Galaxy TV on DSTV (a satellite broadcast in many African countries). now, there’s not a lot on Harkha Bai/Mariam-uz-Zamani but I do appreciate her as one of the driving forces behind Akbar’s policies which contributed to religious freedom for non-Muslim citizens of Hindustan and she was also well-known in the spice trade in the 16th century, which I think is admirable.
