only checking back on this account because i had a friend that wanted to read my old stories irl~ to everyone who has wished me condolences, thank you so much, i am fine now~ just not sure if i’ll continue this story or will wait until Shannon writes the next kotlc book for inspo. i will not be able respond to all my notifications but love u all, thanks for reading, and my deepest apologies to any committed readers i left on a cliffhanger.

          Hey, heard that you lost a friend.  I’m so sorry that happened to you Midnight, wish I could make it better.  You know, they say time heals all wounds— but I’m not going to insult you by saying that’s true.  Honestly, sometimes we don’t even notice the passing of time.  Pain sort of burrows inside is and makes a home in our heart, hardening it to prevent further hurt.  No, what time does is allow us to come to terms with our loss and to manage the sadness.  We learn to deal and eventually, through that, we find our way to joy again.  Even though we still miss what we lost.
          
          Anyways, I just wanted say that I understand what you’re going through and if you ever need to talk...

Hehe, so uh- hey
          So I realize I said every two weeks I would update- 
          and now it’s been two months-
          
          well, the only explanation I can really give is that the same week I updated, I had someone very close to me sadly pass away.
          
          And while I get I should recover from that by now enough to get back to writing, it just completely threw me off my game and I’ve lost all inspiration- and motivation.  Which is awful, because writing truly is a therapy to me- it’s just hard to put something out there that your heart’s not in. 
          
          So again, I apologize, it just would be foolish of me to make another promise to update that I cannot fulfill. Hopefully, the future has better things in mind~

So... hey guys.
          
          It’s been awhile. 
          I remember when I initially went on hiatus.. I was only planning to take a break for a week.
          Then a week became two weeks..
          and so on.
          
          It’s easy to say things have been hectic- I’ve been busy. To the point where Wattpad went uninstalled on my phone- busy.
          
          I’m sorry to readers I’ve left in the dark. Readers there from the start who have left- and new ones, who’ve been persistently asking for an update. Well, I saw a notification for a comment on TL, and decided to log back in. 
          So I’m back- or at least, have the app installed on my phone.
          
          I realize I’ve left friends by going on hiatus- the majority of whom are on hiatus as well or have left the app completely. I hope we can reconnect.
          
          I apologize in announcing the fact that all my other books- and all my other accounts, whether they be backups or rp’s or what not- will be discontinued. 
          I simply am not in the same headspace as I was to continue them. 
          But I’ll give you this. 
          I will try to update TL at least every two weeks. I’m sorry to say that you can’t hold me to this, but.. I’ll try. I really loved writing this story.
          
          Yes, I’ve read Unlocked- and let’s just say that the plot was far from what I imagined, or hoped for. But we have a ways to go until the final installment of the KOTLC series, so I suppose I have time and time to dream up an ending to this fanfiction. 
          Even though, at the moment, I have no idea where it’s going. 
          
          Thank you for those who have stuck with me, and thank you to all of you that are new. I never saw me continuing this story, but I suppose we’re here. 
          So lookout for a new update within these next two weeks, and also- dang.
