Good morning, evening or afternoon. I'm Mika, an 18-year-old from the Netherlands. 

Of course it would sound much better to say "I'm an 18-year-old writer from the Netherlands", but I don't believe in limiting yourself in any such way, nor taking oneself so seriously. I'm simply a person who, among other things, likes to write.
I also like to read, I'm a music lover and musician, a philosophical thinker or -as I like to say- over-thinker, interested in history and language in general and I'm very fond of nature.

I surely hope anyone who has the pleasure of coming across a work of mine actually does experience pleasure in doing so.
- I hope you have just as much fun reading my stories as I have creating them.

The first three chapters of my work-in-progress novel "The Night Train" are published.

In this book I try a new approach to writing. I don't think there is a name for it yet, but if I were to describe it, I think essayish-novel would do it justice.

I try to take the reader on the journey of my thinking process to figure out what te point or goal of this life is, but I try to do so in novel form.
