Science-fiction, fantasy, and period stories strike my fancy. I am particularly drawn to works that follow the styles of Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Lewis, or Tolkien (or, really, any of the Lost Generation authors). I have a soft spot for underdog heroes and protagonists that find themselves totally out of their element, and also enjoy stories with political undertones woven into them.



Besides reading, I also do a lot of writing myself. I'm debating which story I should share here, and also nervous as all hell if I'll measure up to any of the fantastic writers I've discovered at WattPad.
