So something for if or when you return to Soul Zero is that True Bankai Ichigo is absolutely stronger than Reinhard and could in theory beat him if Ichigo immediately hit him with a full power Getsuga Tensho. Ichigo can also absolutely take out Satella with his true Bankai largely because she is comparable to Ywache whose power Almighty not only allows him to see all possible futures but directly influence and make whatever future he desires happen.

So an interesting concept for a Zanpakuto I thought of is pretty much a vampire sword. The Shikai release transforming the sword into a chainsaw sword with the purpose of spilling as much blood as possible which it then absorbs to grow stronger and use more powerful techniques and once this Zanpakuto reaches a certain threshold of blood the Spul Reaper using it can go into Bankai. The Bankai of this thing is a massive gamble that would only be used as a trump card in a fight since on top of burning through the blood that fuels the Bankai like no tomorrow it also causes severe blood loss to the Soul Reaper using it. However the attack potency of a Zanpakuto like this would be enough to get pre-TYBW Kenpachi to need to take the fight seriously.

Okay so a concept for a Bankai I thought of is a Bankai that nullifies all powers within a certain radius of it. With this Bankai even working on Witch authorities. It’s sort of like the Shinigami using this just suddenly says “no cheats allowed” pretty much anyone caught in this Bankai barring the Shinigami using it loses all their powers and has to fight with straight hands.
I think that when it comes to Bankais Ichigo’s should be the first one showcased when he uses it to take down the White Whale with one Getsugatensho. It would be a good way to establish just how powerful a Shinigami’s Bankai is since by that point Ichigo is likely at the level of power he was when he fought Byakuya. Which would be a good benchmark for what the Shinigami of the lost Squad are capable of although some of their Zanpakuto aren’t powerful in the same way as Tensa Zangetsu. As Aizen’s Zanpakuto illustrates some of the most terrifying Zanpakuto aren’t the ones that can cut a mountain in half in one go but are the ones that manipulate the senses and make those fighting against the Shinigami question reality.
So for when doing the Bakai’s of the lost squad something to keep in mind is that every Bankai just needs to go hard. It doesn’t matter who’s doing it in canon Bleach whenever someone whips out Bakai it’s a 1000% aura increase. Plus sometimes it comes with extra drip like Ichigo’s. When somebody uses Bankai they mean business. Seeing a Shinigami whip out Bankai is a big deal. Rem would get to see Bankai first hand when Ichigo uses Bankai to bring down the White Whale so she would understand full well that shit gets real when a Shinigami decides its time for the kid gloves to come off and brings out their Bankai.
Ichigo says goodbye:
Ichigo and his mother sit down on a bench in the local park
Masaki: “So what did you want to tell me Ichigo? Do you have a girl in your life~?”
Ichigo: “Wha-no I do-!”
Ichigo has a sudden flash of memories of a girl with blue hair with a warm smile on her face.
Ichigo: “Actually…yeah I do. She’s really something you, Yuzu, Karin would love her. She’s a maid working at this huge mansion the only other staff there is her twin sister but she’s so lazy that she practically runs the place by herself. She’s honestly one of the strongest people I’ve met.”
Masaki: “Well then you’ll have to introduce me sometime.”
Ichigo: “Yeah…hey mom I know about everything…I know you’re a Quincy and that Dad is a Shinigami.”
Masaki: I-how did you-?”
Ichigo: “It’s a long story I can tell you if you want.”
Masaki: “I would like that.”
After several hours Ichigo tells his mother the whole story and she’s definitely shocked to say the least after hearing it all.
Masaki: “So I guess I’m not real am I?”
Ichigo: “Honestly I don’t know…Dad said your soul was long gone after King Fisher devoured you. I tried putting on the tough guy act to hide how sad I was with you gone. We’d always visit your grave every year on that day.”
Masaki: “Well then it’s probably a lot to just see me let alone talk to me.”
Ichigo: “Honestly, I was great to see you again. My greatest regret was that I never got to say goodbye to you Mom. And now after seeing what could’ve been I feel sad but also glad I finally get to say this to you.”
Masaki: “Ichigo…remember I’ll always be with you even when I’m gone.”
Ichigo: “I know…I have to go now everyone is waiting for me.”
Masaki: “Well then don’t keep them waiting.”
Ichigo: “Goodbye…mom.”
