Michael J. McLaughlin, MD, is co-founder of Peloton Advantage, a medical communications company. He received degrees from Harvard College and Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. After four years as a plastic surgeon and hand specialist, he transitioned to a career in medical communications. As the founder of Physician Renaissance Network (PRNresource.com), a free information and networking service for doctors with non-clinical careers and interests, he frequently lectures on the topics of physician career change, non-clinical careers for physicians, physician entrepreneurism, and physician consulting. In 2009 he was selected as a leading Change Agent in PharmaVOICE's Top 100 Most Inspiring People.
