Anyone know how to get feedback on your work? Been on here almost a year each story has at least over 20 reads. Would like to know what I am doing right and what I can do better. I’ve been reaching out like crazy yet no touch backs. On the verge of just giving up TBH...

Thank you so kindly for your suggestions and encouraging words. I may need to set it down to better strategize and collect my thoughts and feelings and develop a plan of action. As of now I’ve been teaching myself the art of stop-motion. It’s like pulling teeth to get any of my friends and family to read but also understand that perhaps I am not aware how bad my disabilities may challenge the reader but again if I don’t get feedback how can I ever know how to improve. I had a website but couldn’t afford to keep it going but perhaps I need to do what my gut says put it to rest for a season and market and present my work better. Congratulations on editor’s choices reads!!!! I saw that and it so very much deserved. For sure enjoy your work and your words to never give up

@MilesJoseph2 Don't give up. Believe me, I know it can be disheartening. It's not you though, it's the nature of the Wattpad beast. There are literally MILLIONS of stories floating about and it takes time to get noticed. If you have a social media presence (Twitter, IG, FB) you should definitely post links to your work there. If you can create your own webpage that can help too (esp if that's linked to your social media presence and WP). Check out Wix.com if you need a place to start. If you keep plugging at it, people will find you. Writing is a lifelong marathon, not a one-time sprint. And while you're waiting just keep writing, which is the point of all this, right? To explore your inner soul! :) And you know the minute you give up is the minute something could have hit. Last month Wattpad made Ensemble and Editor's choice read. I was floored. My book has the lowest number of reads on there (by far). You just never know who's lurking, which is another fun thing about putting your work out there for all to see. Just don't (ever) give up! :)
