Hey guys I feel like this happens a lot so please honestly heed this warning as it’s something that will save you a lot of hurt, pain and trauma. Age gaps in relationships, DO NOT go looking for that as a newly young adult and ESPECIALLY as a minor, we read about them all the time on this platform but in real life that’s a whole other beast, it’s very predatory and you don’t think it’s harmful towards you until you find yourself doing things that you don’t feel comfortable doing to satisfy someone else, we can admire and like large age gaps in a fictional sense but never try to actively seek such things until you know you can actually make that decision as someone who has experience, it’s either borderline grooming or it straight up is grooming, that shit is scary and since I know there’s so many young girls on this platform I hope it becomes taught and normalize to not idolize someone just because they’re older than you, it’s not healthy, focus on yourself first become a boss ass bitch because that’s what’s gonna be best for you it doesn’t feel good to be financially tethered to someone as well as emotionally, fight for your own future because no one else will, nothings hotter than building your own legacy brick by brick than just waiting on some guy. To the young girls here focus on your academics whatever makes you thrive in the best way possible become someone that has the ability to stand on her own, be positive share as much kindness to other and live your life to the fullest, I know this sounds sappy asf but it’s very important to protect your self and your peace, never be scared to be yourself and say no, it’s never your fault. It will never be your fault for saying no, you’re all beautiful and I hope you become amazing women in the future. Love you all <3
