Everyone's asleep
My world almost quiet, not a single peep
But my mind buzzes, this chaos is not unknown
The arguments, the evil, the shadows,
all one unsettling tone
One to many crows.
And at the crack of dawn
With droplets of dew on the lawn
A bone chilling calm
Set out in the day
Marking anew, a life given lemon in my palm.
This evil is known
But goes unshown.
I hate this day,
my way of life
Its a dismay,
unlike a blade of a knife.
