Hi guys ! How have ya'll been ? I'm sorry for the lack of update on the no home fanwebtoon and essay i wrote. Life has been TOUGH for me out there (somehow got affected by the ao3 curse i guess haha)
But just letting ya'll know for people that read either of those works or both, i have some plans in mind i won't spoil the fanwebtoon of course, but i will copy paste down the analysis perspective ideas i have for my future (and hopefully finale) version of my no home analysis :
No Home seen through misogyny : what Marie, Hara, Minju and the mothers of the cast tell us about Korean sexism ?
No Home through a queer lens : Eunyung, Hara, Marie, Juwan, gender non-conformity and homosexuality
No home through an anarchist/political lens : the critique of class, the constant rejection of authority through Eunyung's disobedience, and the success of community
A chronological analysis of Eunyung and Haejoon : CPTSD, BPD, Love, Grief and Change
No Home through the lens of neuroatypical marginalization : ADHD, Autism, Eunyung, Juwan and Haejoon
No Home's visual identity and why the story couldn't have been conveyed any other way.
I am planning to make all of this a single work with the different thematics separated in each chapter. This might be troublesome for the longest parts (especially the mysoginy and chronological analysis parts...) because they will be, really, really long, but i think with good formatting it should be okay.
Anyway, this summer unfortunately i doubt i will have the time to work on these two things, as i have other creatives projects in the work as well, and i'm also struggling a lot with school and my mental health. But yeah just wanted to let you guys know as usual i'm not giving up on these projects and they are still very much progressing, albeit slowly ❤️
